Add-on apps: Add up to 5 extra apps (e.g., banking or travel) free when you purchase a GROW phone. You can add it into the detail box on the product page of the phone you select. Need additional apps available at $10 per batch of 5.
- Add Apps at a later date: To add apps after purchasing the phone there is a $15 charge to open the Play store and you can add what is needed.

Why is there no browser?
To prevent unwanted access to web content, distractions, and security risks from browsing. The Grow Phone is intentionally designed to stay focused and distraction-free.
Will the phone have internet at all?
Yes—only through approved apps such as email, maps, rides, and productivity tools. General web browsing is disabled.
What counts as “extra apps”?
Any app beyond the pre-installed essentials listed above. Examples include banking apps, travel apps, or other practical tools. Social media and open web browsing apps are not allowed.
How much do extra apps cost?
Extra apps are $10 for every 5 approved apps.
Can I access the Play Store?
The Play Store is closed by default to preserve the Grow Phone experience. At a later date, it can be opened for $15 if additional apps are needed.
How are apps updated?
All apps can be updated through the MB Smart App, which comes pre-installed on every Grow Phone.
Can I remove or disable apps?
Yes. Any pre-installed app can be disabled upon request.
Do calls and texting work like a normal phone?
Yes—calling and texting work just like a standard phone with your carrier.
Does it support group texts and picture messages (MMS)?
In most cases, yes—depending on your carrier plan.
Can it connect to Wi-Fi?
Yes. Wi-Fi works for approved apps while keeping web browsing disabled.
Does it have GPS and navigation?
Yes. Both Google Maps and Waze are included.
